Can Saccharomyces boulardii treat and eradicate Helicobacter pylori among children instead of bismuth?

Aim: The objective of this study is to compare the use Saccharomyces boulardii (S. boulardii) in eradicating Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) children as an alternative bismuth, which has a limited scope application due its side effects.
 Material and Method: Included were 220 pediatric patients with symptomatic H. gastritis. randomized into three treatment groups. Patients who received bismuth or S. addition standard triple therapy for 14 days compared control group only therapy. 
 Results: Analysis boulardii, groups’ success showed that eradication rate was highest among participants (95.2%), followed by (92.4%). most frequent effects observed patient (17.5%).
 Conclusion: Although continues be successful pylori, protocols are necessary because patients. can administered instead when not serve effects.
